What is Moroccan body care?

Moroccan body care is inspired by traditional hammam rituals that focus on deep exfoliation, cleansing and nourishment. It typically includes Moroccan black soap, kessa glove exfoliation, ghassoul clay and natural oils to smooth skin and improve texture.

How do you use Moroccan black soap and a kessa glove?

Apply Moroccan black soap to damp skin and leave for 5–10 minutes. Rinse lightly, then use a kessa glove to exfoliate in firm strokes. This removes dead skin buildup and helps improve rough texture and uneven tone.

Does Moroccan black soap help with strawberry skin and ingrown hair?

Yes. Regular exfoliation with black soap and a kessa glove helps remove dead skin that traps hair follicles, which may reduce the appearance of strawberry skin and ingrown hair over time

How often should I exfoliate with a hammam ritual?

For most skin types, 1–2 times per week is recommended. Over-exfoliation can cause irritation, so allow skin to recover between treatments.

is Moroccan body care suitable for sensitive skin?

Most natural Moroccan body treatments are gentle, but sensitive skin types should patch test first and avoid aggressive exfoliation pressure.

Does Moroccan body care help brighten dull or uneven skin?

Traditional Moroccan body care focuses on deep exfoliation to remove dead skin buildup that can make skin look dull. Regular use of Moroccan black soap and a kessa glove may help improve the appearance of uneven tone, dark spots, and rough texture, revealing smoother and more radiant-looking skin over time.
